Jerry Lawson is the national manager for EPA’s ENERGY STAR programs for the faith community and small business.
Previously, Lawson served as:
o Executive Director for Conservation, Customer Service, Rates & Forecasting at the Lower Colorado River Authority, which generates electricity and provides water for agriculture in the 30,000 square mile service area surrounding Austin, Texas.
o Director of the City of Austin Resource Management Department, which successfully substituted energy efficiency to prevent construction of a new 500-megawatt coal-fired power plant.
o Deputy Director for Conservation and Renewable Resources at the Arkansas Department of Energy.
• Education includes a Master of Public Affairs degree from Arizona State University and a BA degree from the University of Arkansas.
