Angie Gilbride

California Water Service Regional Community Affairs Representative

Angie Gilbride was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and is one of three children to Korean immigrant parents. Angie has extensive experience in community and government relations and spent nearly a decade in New York City before returning to California five years ago.

Currently, Angie is the Regional Community Affairs Representative for the southern district at California Water Service, a water provider that serves most of the South Bay, and parts of East Los Angeles, Antelope Valley, and the City of Thousand Oaks. In this role, she manages relationships with political, business, and community leaders to help the company establish a positive presence in the communities it serves. She advises company leaders on community relations strategies and manages the company’s philanthropic efforts. She also volunteers her time by serving on the boards of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and Salvation Army Torrance Corps.

Prior to joining Cal Water, Angie served as Public Affairs Manager at Consolidated Edison Company of New York where she helped the company strengthen its community relations, crisis communications, reputation management, and charitable giving.

While working for the City of New York, she authored several of the city’s emergency and response plans and coordinated response efforts during large-scale emergencies, including Hurricane Sandy.

Angie and her husband, Chris, live in the South Bay and have three beautiful children. Angie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego and a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Columbia University.
