Hayana Kwon Guerrero

VP

Hayana Guerrero is Vice President of Community Investment for Boston Private Bank in Greater LA. In her role, she works to ensure the bank responsibly meets the community development needs of its local markets by investing, serving, and lending in all the bank’s assessment areas, particularly for underserved, low-and moderate-income populations and communities. Hayana’s priorities include small business development, affordable housing, investments serving low income people and communities, neighborhood revitalization, economic development, and financial education. Prior to her role in Community Investment, Hayana worked in credit administration and commercial lending and started her banking career in 2004. Her civic and community involvement includes serving on the Development & Marketing Advisory Committee for Community Career Development where she supports workforce development. Hayana also serves on the leadership board for the Westside Family Health Center where she advocates for the health and well-being of underserved and vulnerable populations in Los Angeles. She has also served on the Executive Council for the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship Southern CA chapter and continues to support youth entrepreneurship and leadership programs.
Prior to Banking, she was an English teacher in South Korea and enjoyed living abroad, learning about the Korean culture, and traveling the world. Currently she lives in Redondo Beach with her husband and 4 year old son who keeps her on her toes; and enjoys the outdoors, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
