Joseph Hamilton

Sr Pastor, Rosewood UMC

Pastor Joseph Hamilton has been in ordained ministry for over 25 years. He was the former Minister of Youth at First AME, Los Angles, (FAME), serving under Dr. Cecil Murray. He also served as the Assistant Pastor of Hope Community Church RCA under Dr. Kerry Allison. He is the founder of One in Christ Church, which he pastored for over 14 years and the current Senior Pastor of Rosewood UMC.
He’s the former Executive Director of the Urban Church Association and was responsible to 34 pastors and their churches. His is the founder and Executive Director of the Martin Home Reintegration Program for men, a faith-based ministry that houses 16 formerly incarcerated men.
Pastor Joseph is a published writer and authored a “Self-Help” curriculum entitled, “Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life,” and former teacher for The Urban Ministry Institute, TUMI.
Pastor Joseph is an entrepreneur and has started, sold and taken over business. He is a public speaker and motivator; he travels throughout the United States working mainly with Executive
Leadership Teams and their managers in industries from Aero-Space to Transportation. He teaches biblical principles to inspire individuals that strengthen their teams and companies.
Pastor Hamilton graduated from Biola University with a B.S. in Psychology and Organizational Leadership with a minor in Theology. He is a trained Psycho-Therapist, with a Master of Science
in Marriage & Family Therapy.
