Rev. Brenda Kilioni-Paongo

Brenda Kilioni Paongo was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii into a family strongly
rooted in the Wesleyan faith. After graduating from Waianae high school, she attended University of Hawaii at Hilo. She graduated with her B.A. in Communications in 2006. Brenda married her husband Manukafoa in 2008 and the same year were blessed with their first born son Vainiaku (14). Their family blessings grew with the birth of their daughter Latai in 2011, son Hina in 2015, and their youngest daughter Asia in 2019. Brenda’s experiences and calling has led her to receive her M.Div from Claremont School of Theology in 2020. As of July 01, 2022 Brenda has been called to her first appointment as lead pastor at Trinity United Methodist Church. It is with faith she moves to revive Trinity UMC past connections and build new partnerships not necessarily to fill up pews but to be a venue available to serve and live out grace as the good Lord willed us to have, “to have life and to have it in abundance.”
