Pastor Josh Zulueta

Pastor Josh is the Lead Pastor at First UMC Paso Robles, where he has served since 2018. He is biracial, Filipino-American, and was born and raised in Southern California, where he practiced and taught competitive figure skating for much of his youth and young adulthood. In his home church of First UMC San Fernando he served as Youth Leader of a very racially diverse youth group while attending Cal-State Los Angeles where he received his bachelors degree in psychology. He attended seminary at Duke Divinity School in Durham, North Carolina, where he received his M.Div in 2018. As part of his seminary education, Josh served both at a traditional church setting in rural North Carolina and an experiential new church start in Seattle, Washington. Because of his background, Josh has a passion for lifting up the myriad experiences of God’s love found in the diversity of the sibling-hood of Christians.
