Jeffrey Lee
Community Engagement
Manager
Southern California Edison
Calling the San Gabriel Valley home for almost 30 years, Jeffrey Lee believes being a community caretaker in the SGV is one of his most important responsibilities and privileges.
Currently, Jeffrey is serving as a planning commissioner, a role he held since 2017. In this role, Jeffrey takes great pride in helping direct the short and long-range growth of Temple City while maintaining a high quality of life for Temple City residents. Jeffrey also represents Temple City on an advisory board for the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments. In this capacity, he works with local policymakers to ensure San Gabriel Valley residents have access to clean air, sustainable energy options, and natural resources are protected for current and future residents to enjoy. Jeffrey also serves on the Temple City Chamber of Commerce board of directors to help serve the small businesses in Temple City.
At Southern California Edison, Jeffrey is a corporate giving and community engagement manager. Jeffrey is married to his beautiful wife, Grace Lee and he’s a proud father of Maxwell Lee, his 3 year-old son. His other children are named Remi and Louie, a Goldendoodle and a Terrier-mix. Jeffrey holds an MA in International Relations and Public Administration from Syracuse University.
Throughout Jeffrey's career, he has been guided and inspired by the Oath of the Athenian City State - an oath required by ancient Athens to those who wish to become its citizens:
"We will ever strive for the ideals and sacred things of the city, both alone and with many; we will unceasingly seek to quicken the sense of public duty; We will revere and obey the city's laws; We will transmit this city not only not less, but greater, better and more beautiful than it was transmitted to us."
